The other day, my friend, Judy D., showed a pair of socks on Facebook that she was working on and she used the hashtag #circlesocks. I loved them and I thought . . I’ve made those socks before. I have the perfect yarn for another pair and that can be my third pair of “Summer of Socks” for the ESK KAL. A while back, I had made a pair that was similar .. maybe the same pattern so I’d look them up in my Ravelry projects and go from there. It’s so nice that I always put all my projects in Ravelry and I can go back and get any info I need . . until I don’t put all my projects in Ravelry. I searched for “Circle Socks” . . no match. No problem. I’d find them in my Ravelry library. All my patterns are there! I searched for “Circle Socks” . . no match.
Someone asked Judy on FB what pattern she used. Great .. I’d just wait til she answered. Six hours later and I was wanting to set it all up in Knit Companion for knitting on a road trip . . no answer.
I know I tried searching the Ravelry pattern database for “Circle Socks” and nothing came up. I was scratching my head .. I made these socks already. I gave them as a gift. Why aren’t they in my projects? Why isn’t the pattern in my library. I have no answers but I went to the blog and found them there.
There they are. See! I told you I made them before! It was in 2012. Mystery solved! I even finished them and that’s one pair of socks that for a while after giving them away, I kinda wished I’d kept because they were so cute.
The pattern is Circle Socks and it’s free! And, I hope I don’t have so much trouble finding it next time.
This is the yarn I want to use. It’s Blue Moon’s Tigger Targhee and the color is Zesty.
I think I’ll also wind this yarn and just in case Zesty doesn’t turn out like I think it should, I’ll have a backup plan ready to go.
The color is W49B.

Oh, either one! I really love the green, no surprise since it’s my favorite color, but the others might do even better in that design. I’m glad you found your pattern!

What a fun pattern! Either one is awesome! But you live green so use green!

Hahaha! I love that you are making them too. I’m so close to being done…next road trip! Maybe. I’m working on the feet, no thinking, just knit. My favorite part. I had to search my blog for the pattern too. I knew it was in my Ravelry library but I could kind it or in a search. What the heck!!! I love when we work on a project at the same time. 🙂

I remember those! I was so impressed at the 3D effect, and love where the pink or the dark gray form the background, surrounded by a lighter-color web.
I think you really want the green socks, but can see the temptation of the dark rainbow yarn, too.
