I’m betting no one could ever guess from this picture, what I’m trying to share.
Should I tell you or should I let you guess? You would NEVER guess. OK . . I’ll tell you!
We’ve lived out here on this road for almost seven years. We go out in the morning . . Vince at the same time most every morning. Vince comes home anywhere from 4 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. I go out at various times during the day. We have NEVER seen a school bus on our road. I think that’s so weird.
Today . . about 4:30 p.m., we were going home and we met a school bus. I was so excited! I was trying to grab my phone to get a picture and by the time I got the picture . . school bus had passed and I totally missed it.
My guess is the kids were coming home from having been somewhere for the day. I can’t say that for sure because I didn’t even have a chance to look inside the bus. I was busy grabbing my phone!
We’re very close to the end of our county. There probably aren’t more than half a dozen or so houses past us before you get to the end of the county. I know the three closest houses past us don’t have school age children. I don’t think anyone has school aged children who live going back towards town on our road. Just a bunch of old folks out here!
It really is weird never seeing a school bus. Sorry I didn’t get a picture of the bus on our road . . no telling when I’ll see another one.

Umm, no…we couldn’t see that bus over your shoulder! 😀

You crack me up, Judy. I don’t know anyone else who would get excited about seeing a school bus on their road. LOL But I sort of understand. After living so many years in the flight path of Skyharbor in Phoenix, AND Luke Air Force Base, AND Glendale Municipal Airport (not to mention the hot air balloons that landed in the golf course sometimes!), it seems strange to me that only 2 or 3 times a year does a small plane go over my house, and otherwise NO planes do! I do miss that.
