This morning we were sitting and talking, mostly about the weather and I said “Who’d have thought near the first week in April that we’d have near freezing temps?” On tale the old timers carry on around here is “If it thunders in February, it will freeze in April.” I’m beginning to believe that’s true.
Vince and I started talking about how many times we say “Who’d have thought . . . ”
Who’d have thought we’d end up in Texas . . ouro entire married life I told him I’d move anywhere in the south EXCEPT Texas. Now, as we’re trying to figure out how to get closer to Missouri, we keep thinking there has to be some place over on that northeast side of Texas, a bit closer to Missouri, but we could stay in Texas.
Who’d have thought we’d get old so fast and here it is . . edging up on time for retirement. Vince signed up for Medicare last week! I’m married to an old man! 🙂
Who’d have thought I hardly ever cook any more?
Who’d have thought I would have bought a new longarm, quilted about four tops and then totally stopped quilting?
Who’d have thought we would have learned so much about glaucoma in dogs?
Who’d have thought Cat would be so needy and always wanting someone to pet her?
I’m going to start paying attention to how many times I say “Who’d have thought . . ” . I bet I say it a dozen times a day. Who’d have thought that? 🙂

You made me smile. Paul and I never had that one, but we had “Aren’t you glad we ….” conversations constantly – and sometimes repeated the same ones. LOL The most common one was how happy we were we’d chosen the particular 5th wheel we did, and how glad we were to be traveling full time. =)

Who’d have thought you’d be conversing through a magic box each day with people all around the world? I sure am glad you know magic.
