It seems like the fruit grows so quickly at this point but then it stops and takes forever to get ripe.
We have five pomegranate bushes and a couple have a ton of blooms on them.

It’s funny to me because the blooms start out looking like little pomegranates and then the bloom opens up and kinda peels away and a little pomegranates starts to grow.

There are a couple of places we pass that have pomegranate bushes and they have thousands of pomegranates on them in the fall. Maybe this will be the year our bushes produce lots and lots of pomegranates. It’s funny to think about how much I enjoy watching the fruit grow. Almost every day I’m out there looking at everything and watching the progress. It doesn’t take much to entertain me.

Interesting I have never seen pomegranates grow. I kind of thought they grew on trees. My husband drinks the juice every morning to keep his PSA down. He doesn’t have to take any medicine after having prostrate cancer. The doctor was impressed with his results.
