This has been a fast week for me. I don’t feel like I accomplished much at all.
Patterns Added:
- Early Mornin Mist
- Impressionists MKAL
- Line of Shapes
- Iba
- Charmayne
- Broken Seed Stitch Socks
- Pastel Gemstones Shawl
Yarn Added:
Yarn did arrive. First, the Milla Mia Naturally Soft Merino from Love Knitting
Next box to arrive was this box of Loopy solids from The Loopy Ewe. These were all on sale and these are such good yarns to have – fingering weight solids!
Then the four skeins of yarn from The Loopy Ewe arrived. These probably won’t get used for the Impressionist MKAL but there’s another mystery coming up and I might can use one or two for that. I’ll have to do a little more checking it out.
Then, it’s like Santa Claus left a huge box of yarn for me. A friend told me that she loved quilting and didn’t love knitting so much and wanted her yarn to go to a good home so she sent it all to me. It was a ton of really nice yarn and I’m so happy to get it. Most of it was still packaged from The Loopy Ewe and had not even been unwrapped. There were even some ChiaoGoo needles in there . . had never been opened!.I will give it a good home and I will make some things for her with her yarn.
Projects I Worked On:
Carbeth Cardi – I think I now have it the length I want it to be. I thought that last week but added a couple of inches. I have one sleeve almost finished. I am not sure I understand how these sleeves get set into the sweater but I’ll figure it out. This is the first time I’ve done a sweater from the bottom up and the sleeves were done separately.
Reflection – Great progress on this one. I do think I could finish this by the end of the weekend, or maybe early next week.
Knitting Plans for next Week:
The craziness continues. Vince had a doctor’s appointment Monday. I had knitting Tuesday. Wednesday he had a stress test and then we went to the grocery store. He had a doctor’s appointment Thursday and then we went to the grocery store (seeing a pattern here?). Every day this week so far, we’ve been to town. This is not working out so good for me . . the stay at home queen. When I go with him to an appointment, I take my knitting and sit and knit so it’s been very nice to have Reflections, which is relatively easy to work on.
Projects Started:
Reflection is the only thing I started this week.

I’ll be interested to hear how you like the Milla Mia Naturally Soft Merino. What a lucky girl, getting gifted yarn. We want to see the skeins, not the tissue paper thought. Pretty please!

I have finished the Winter Rose socks but do not know how to post them in Ravelry. Will make these again.
