Even though I totally dislike TV, there are occasions when I love a good series. I never mind TV if we turn it on to watch a specific show and then turn it off. Vince can watch a show he likes, or we can watch a show he thinks I like. I don’t have a clue how to make Neflix or Amazon Prime work . . heck, I don’t even know how to turn the TV on because, according to Vince, it takes 3 remotes. What I dislike is when the TV is turned on and left on all day or even all afternoon. No one is paying attention. It isn’t like “that’s my favorite show!” . . it’s just one. I do not like that and when that happens over and over, I start wanting the TV gone. We only have one in the house. Oh, we have others but a TV in the bedroom is where I put my foot down and since we can just about see the family room TV from any room in this house, there’s no need for another TV. Really, if I had my way, we wouldn’t have any TVs. We’d have radios and iPods and music going all the time. But, I don’t have my way! That’s ok . . I get other things I want!
Vince does a really good job of finding shows he thinks I will like. There is a TV and a comfy sofa and a recliner (notice I didn’t say it was comfy!) in the sewing room and I don’t mind if he goes over there and watches shows or I don’t mind going over there and knitting with Boots so he can watch gross shows in the house but I’m not watching blood or violence or bad words. OK . . now you’re wondering why he doesn’t just boot me out and he could watch anything he wants to watch. I have redeeming qualities! 🙂
Anyway, he found the series “Emily Owens, MD” and we’ve been watching it. I love it. I think it’s old. I don’t know how we’re watching it . . Netflix maybe. We’re both enjoying it. I think most of y’all would like it. If you haven’t watched it, check it out. I’m going to be sad when we’ve watched all the episodes.
