I’m sure I’m not going to be able to keep up with post numbers . . I’ll have to figure out how to caption these posts.
Yesterday afternoon I had knitted over 10 rows and it hit me . . “provisional cast on” and I hadn’t done a provisional cast on so I ripped it all back, did a provisional cast on and here’s how far I got.
I’m still not 100% sure I’m making the right size so this one may end up being for Nicole or, I guess I could be optimistic and think that by the time I finish knitting this, I’ll be as small as Nicole but I’m just going to leave it as . . I don’t know if I’m making the right size or not. I can’t wait to get to the next step.
You might notice at the top of this one that I’m fading into a darker green . . swapping out the ecru for a light olive. So far, so good.
I’m kinda guessing I’m not going to know how it fits til the very end but, this is an adventure and I’m loving it so, that’s what matters, right?

While the pattern didn’t get me interested, I must say that piece you have so far is lovely, WOW! What pretty colors.

That IS what matters! The pattern looks like you could make it longer or wider easily and that it would be forgiving and easy to do … if a person had any idea what they’re doing, which I freely admit, I don’t! I like the color so far!

What a great way to use up yarn! The energy is infectious, but I’m not sure about the end result. It looks very loose-fitted, so I’m thinking that won’t be much of a concern. Have fun!
