We have baby plums and the trees are loaded!
I knew I’d be able to see them today. All five trees are just covered. Some will fall off but I’ve learned . . don’t count on anything til it’s done. We could still have a big hail storm or an infestation of giant grasshoppers that eat plums, leaves, and window screens! I tell Vince that when they start chomping on the tires on my car, that’s when I’m outta here!
I’m not even going to start planning what I’m going to make with them all because there’s just too much that can happen between now and then but, for now, I’m hopeful.

I always used to watch my cherry trees and just hope for the best. I was generally happy if I would get enough to make a pie or two. One year (the only year) I got 10 gallons of cherries! I was thrilled!

That looks wonderful right now – just joy in the moment. The future will take care of itself. =)

You are too funny. Hope you got some rain today. Looked like you were getting more than we did. Don’t think ours even made it to the rain gauge!
