Goodness, someone could read that title and think our home environment has gotten a little explosive with Vince being home for a week or two. No . . not what I’m talking about.
Vince just watched a documentary . . he thinks on Amazon Prime. It’s called Atomic Homefront. They also have a Facebook page.
After watching the documentary and getting fired up about the salt water injected into chicken, I feel a bit radical! 🙂 I should go back to knitting.
I highly recommend Atomic Homefront. Even if you’re not living near a Superfund Site, it’s a very interesting show and really made me think about those who are charged with looking out for us . . the citizens who often don’t have a clue what we’re being exposed to or how we’re being used.
OK . . that’s the end of the heavy posts . . back to knitting, gardening and trying to stay sane with a husband at home!

I know I’ve said it before, but just wait till he retires! I love not caring when I get out of bed in the morning, but when he’s always around, it’s much harder to sneak fabric and yarn into the house… just sayin’.

Good luck on the sane part! I think I lost my sanity in 2004!! LOL

vivian’s comment mirrors what i was going to write. this is definitely one way to “prepare” for retirement. many of my friends suggested i might want to get a part time job when hubby retired. i didn’t, and it’s been 17 years now – still lovin’ and livin’ the dream.
