I should stop saying that we never get rain.
Rainfall
We had .01 inches today. Just a bit of calculating tells me that if we could get this amount of rain every day, we would get a whopping 3.56 inches per year! 🙂
Without doing any calculating and simply looking in the mirror, I can tell you that about .000001 inches of rain causes my curly hair to curl up very tight and get extremely frizzy. I never saw or felt actual rain . . and I guess at .01 inches, not many people around here did, but the air was so thick today, it felt like walking through water. We so rarely have humidity but it was 99% humidity almost every time I looked at my weather station.
Humidity
It’s been 89% humidity the last few hours. We have thunderstorms predicted for tonight and tomorrow. Please not tonight . . I’m home alone with Rita. Maybe I’ll be a bad dog mama and let her sleep with me tonight. The truth is . . she probably doesn’t even want to sleep in our bed. She does not like being close. Just hoping no scary weather comes through tonight . . about the only thing I like less than being by myself at night is when we have scary storms during the night. I don’t think they’re saying severe thunderstorms.
I had planned to knit but that didn’t happen.

Feeel your pain regarding frizzy hair and humidity, my hair looks like Tina Turner on a really bad hair day and if it gets wet watch out. If stranded on a desert island you can bet my hair straightener will be with me. Hope it’s a quiet night for you both.
