Maybe halfway done with the leg of these socks. I haven’t measured.
I love this color! I think I’m going to do the feet plain stockinette and hope to get some pooling.
Tomorrow I’ll probably spend most of my knitting time back on Sunset Highway. I’d love to get the main part finished and at least get started on the sleeves. But . . socks are so much more fun!

I know how to knit. Not well, but I’ve knitted some items now and again. Judy, you make me want to knit again!!! LOL!! You make such beautiful things that it takes all my willpower to resist digging out my needles and ordering yarn from some of your favorite sites!!!

I joined the knitting group but have not started yet. Like you Judy I spend so much time looking for things. Have my yarn but can find every needle but the size I need. Soooo, I ordered 2 more pair and they haven’t here yet. Have a fun knitting weekend.

From someone who is NOT a knitter, but owns and has worn a pair of socks knitted by her daughter, I am SO IMPRESSED by your ability to knit Both Socks At The Same Time!!
I want to tell my daughter about it, but I can’t quite envision how the socks are cast on to the circular needles. Could you show a photo looking down into the socks? Maybe Vince could help….
Thank you!

Wow, now youve got me puzzled also? I have never knitted socks but gosh she makes it look so easy. Hope she answers your (and now mine also) question.

It really is quite easy to knit socks.

Years ago you were knitting socks around Socktober and I found your blog. I’ve admired each of the socks you’ve shown! I’ve knit several pair, but what I’d really like to do is knit 2 at once on a long cable. Can’t quite figure it out–the lady I go to (she runs a yarn emporium) doesn’t like this method, so she won’t teach it to me. Sigh. Will have to surf you tube for help. I love this latest pair you are doing–love it when yarn pools as well!

Google it and there are some awesome videos. Very Pink and Knit Purl Hunter are my favorites for all knitting questions.
