This morning I decided I’d make bagels for the weekend. A little voice told me . . find your boards before you start. Of course . . I cannot find the boards. While I can make bagels without the boards, and I probably . . maybe . . will make them, I’m so frustrated at not being able to find the boards. I have them with the malt syrup and other stuff I need to make good bagels. I kept it all in a little plastic box. Sound familiar? Cookie molds? I never did find those darned cookie molds.
If I had the box with all the bagel making stuff sitting out and someone was coming over, I could have stuck it anywhere . . under the bed, in the bathroom, in a box of yarn if it was open. I must stop doing that!
I have searched the kitchen, all the cabinets . . no luck. Under the bed, in totes that have “various” stuff. One thing for sure . . there’s yarn everywhere! There’s yarn in every tote that I open. I’m never ordering yarn again! 🙂
I did order more bagel boards. I figure if I find the others, and hopefully some day I will, I can give one set to Chad.
For now, I’m going to take a nap. I’ll probably lay there and think about places those boards could be and end up getting up without ever sleeping! 🙁

Eventually you’ll find the cookie molds in the same box and the bagel boards! LOL! Of course I do realize it’s not funny right now. I know how you feel about not being able to find things. I have the same problem, but not for the same reason. I’m just not good at putting ANYTHING away, so the clutter in my house is at epic proportions! I have no one to blame but myself.

Why don’t you take a notebook and write down things where you put them and label the totes if you use them for the things. or write down in the notebook if you put them in a cupboard or under your bed, or the the closet.

I’ve never heard of bagel boards. After using google, think I might need some!

UGH! I feel your pain! I made a Valentine quilt, had it quilted, picked it up from the quilter and couldn’t find it to bind and hang for Valentine’s day!! Pathetic!

My first thought was that they’re off partying with the springerle presses…

The bagel things are probably with the cookie molds.
