When I first took the picture, I thought to myself “blog readers are sick of seeing Sunset Highway” and then I thought “I’m sick of knitting on it so if I have to keep knitting, they have to keep seeing it!” Seriously, I need for you to cheer me on!
Here’s a photo I took on February 3 so you can see I have made a bit of progress.
I think the pattern calls for the body part to be about 17″ from under the arm to the bottom but I think about 15-1/2″ will be long enough for me. My plan is to knit straight down to 13″ (just one more inch), then knit 2-1/2 to 3″ ribbing and bind off. I doubt I get that far tonight. I should get to the ribbing tonight but won’t finish it.
This means . . tomorrow I can get started on the sleeves. Maybe I can finish this by the end of the weekend. I’m so ready to start a new project. I know what I’m going to start . . I think! But, I’m not saying yet because I’m not totally sure.

I’m anxious to try it on. I keep thinkin it looks so big but based on the measurements, it’s not going to be too big. Weird.

Go, Judy, go! (Waves Pom-poms.)

Just think: as bored as you are with it if you finish it you’ll never have to knit on it again. You can enjoy wearing it knowing you overcame the beast. Besides, isn’t the rule one thing off the needles two things on? 😀
