Mr. Retirement didn’t do his blog post for today. FIRED! 🙂 He may have it later today or . . maybe not. Don’t worry. You can always count on me. I’ll never let you down! 🙂
This is about how far I had gotten when I first started knitting in the car yesterday. Hard to see with it all scrunched up.
Then, I spilled a whole Dr. Pepper down my leg and all over the sweater and all over the skein of yarn I was working with. This one will definitely get soaked with a bit of detergent once it’s done.
Those two pictures don’t tell you much but I’m betting I knitted a good three inches yesterday. Who knows how much time I’ll have to knit this week but I’m definitely concentrating on getting this one done . . especially now that it has dried Dr. Pepper all over it and needs to be washed.

Stunning Judy! Love it! Sorry about the Dr Pepper! That must have been heartbreaking! Also sticky! Hope today is a good one!

So sorry about the Dr Pepper…..I can SO identify with that – I was hand quilting a quilt several years ago and my cat walked over the end table where my Dr Pepper was, knocked it over onto my quilt…..I sopped it up, hurriedly basted the edges “up” and tossed it in the washer. Fortunately, it all came out and I carried on 😉 .

So sorry for your problem! I finished the socks and they fit Pat!! They even look like regular socks for regular people!! LOL I will take a pic and post it on FB so you can see them. I will take them Tuesday and show them but I am afraid Pat will want to wear them before you come back, so I will launder them again before I show them to you and Beth! LOL!! Starting on the cap pattern you posted that was free until 2/8. Wish me luck!! LOL

LOL, sorry about the Dr Pepper! Once my cat threw up on a hat in progress…what a mess, I had to rinse it out on needles & let it dry a few days before I could finish it.
