After making good progress on the secret project, yesterday evening I took a break from it and finished up Vince’s Rye socks. I needed a “social knitting” project to take to my knitting group today so I hurriedly cast on for Addie’s Rye Socks last night. During knitting, in addition to talking and eating, I made good progress on Addie’s socks. I turned the heel tonight.

Depending on how much knitting time I have tomorrow, I may get these finished. There are a few other things I have to do tomorrow. I should go to town and do a few things. I need to get laundry done. We’ll see . .

Judy, these look like a thicker sock. Are they “at home” socks or can shoes been worn with them?

They’re worsted weight socks and can be worn with any shoes that have just a tad extra room. They’re great for wearing with boots, especially rubber boots or snow boots.
