Many years ago . . probably 40+ years ago, a friend gave me a recipe and I made it all the time. That’s back when I had about three things that I knew how to cook, this was served probably twice a week. All I could remember was that it had Lipton’s Ring O Noodle Soup, breakfast sausage, rice and celery. That friend is on Facebook and, after searching the internet and coming up empty, I wrote her a couple of years ago and asked her if she still had the recipe and she did not. I kinda gave up on it but the other night, I decided to really search the internet for the recipe and I found it – Rice – Sausage Casserole.
I had no idea if I could find Ring O Noodle soup around here.
Sure hope this recipe is as good as I remember it being because I bought 12 boxes of the soup mix.

I still buy that soup but the noodles aren’t O’s. Never seen the O’s. But since the recipe calls for Lipton noodle I assume the non-O’s would work, too. Sounds easy so will be interested to see if you still think it’s good. Saving recipe in the meantime.

I’m on a search for a recipe I used to make too. It uses a can of Chow Mein veggies, a can of rice soup, and ground beef. I don’t remember what else goes in it, and I haven’t been able to find the recipe. I’m going to have to search some more. I tried to make it the other night, and it was ok, but I’d like to find the actual recipe again.

I had forgotten all about Ring-O-Noodle soup! Seems like it’s been around forever, though.
