Knitting Report – Jan. 26, 2018

The project I’m working on that I can’t show is consuming most of my knitting time. I don’t like not being able to share photos but you’ll understand once you see it.

Patterns Added:

• Novelle – This looks easy, it looks lightweight and it looks warm and I have the yarn already that will work.
• Stockbridge – I put this in my cart and removed it several times because the pattern is $10 and that’s more than I like to pay but it looks like such a great, basic cardi that I ended up getting it.
• Mae Cardigan – This looks like another good, basic cardigan.
• Fern & Feather – When I first saw this pattern, it had been just for a publication but was going to be released towards the end of January so I’ve been patiently waiting for it. Already have the yarn.

Yarn Added:

The yarn arrived for my secret project. It’s Madelinetosh Twist Light and the color is Well Water.

Projects I Worked On:

 

Free Your Fade – Didn’t make much progress on that but it’s sitting by my chair so I can knit on it when I have spare time.

Secret Project – This will take up most of my knitting time til it’s done.

Hue Shift Afghan – I have 11 blocks done and that’s all I’ll get done in January.

Knitting Plans for next Week:

1. Secret Project. I’d like to get at least halfway done with this by the end of next week.
2. Finish Vince’s socks. That’s been my goal for a couple of weeks now.
3. Make more progress on Free Your Fade.

These numbers do not count hibernating projects. Some hibernating projects have not been started but the yarn has been set aside so I keep them in my “projects” for my own ease of planning. Some hibernating projects should be ripped back and forgotten about. These numbers are the projects that really should be finished.
