Vince has already prepared his blog post for Sunday. I’m not sure if I’m brave enough to read it! When he told me he would provide a post every Sunday, I thought . . I’ll believe it when I see it. I had decided if he has a blog post; he has a blog post and, he has a blog post and today is only Wednesday. I’m impressed.
I will wait til Sunday and read it along with you. Remember .. if there are ever lines to be drawn, you are MY readers and you must never take Vince’s side. I am right .. always! Got it? Good. I knew I could count on you. 🙂
He seems to be enjoying writing. I know . . two blog posts does not mean he’s a dedicated blogger but wouldn’t it be funny if he started blogging regularly . . on his own blog! He used to say he was going to create the “anti-Judy” blog and tell his side of every story I tell.
Seriously, he doesn’t read the blog. He may take more of an interest in it now that he’s a contributor. If I’m posting something that involves Vince, whether it’s a joke about his clothes, or my frustration over the budget, or him draining the water heater through the house with a soaker hose . . I always read it to him and get his approval. Quite often, my version of any story is very different from his version. He still has a very good explanation for using that soaker hose and it makes less sense to me every time I hear it; or his reasoning why all of our snow shovels were in the rented storage building a mile or so from the house . . in December . . in Missouri.
This happened eight years ago and I still crack up reading that story.

Oh my where has the time gone!! Does he still have that pick up? I remember that story! You don’t want to go back to cold snowy winters.. unless it’s an over 55 community where they take care of plowing, shoveling!
DonnainKS says
Oh, my, where HAS the time gone is right! Now, an over 55 community is not only option. Snow removal is done on our cul de sac by the same neighbor who takes tomatoes and other garden produce around in the summer. He’s been doing it here for five years now. Our cul de sac would be a great place for you!

Glad to hear VInce is going to post again. I will take who ever side is the best for explaining stuff. It’s too bad he doesn’t read your blog daily. He would learn alot about the yarn you keep buying and other things.
Ruth says
I look forward to reading Vince’s take on retirement. Haven’t seen much so far…
pat says
I like reading your blog but I’m glad Vince is having a say too.

As my Grandmother used to say there are two sides to every story.. Its up to you on which side you believe or neither. But I sense we are going to hear alot of laughter …..
Marie Gilkey says
I too remember the snow story. I read it to Larry between laughter. Because my snow shovel was in back yard in the shed and we got the same storm.
Wanda says
I’m on your side girlfriend but you want be able to hide the yarn orders of he comes on board just remember that. He!!!!he!!!
Diann says
I enjoy Vince’s posts and he IS a very smart man. Quite handy in knowing how to FIX everything and he allows you to buy yarn! I remember that story too. Time is flying by.

Remember when you posted the photo of Vince in the haz-mat suit and poor Speck, God bless him, was so upset. Please put that that picture up again, so new readers can see what a good sense of humor he has!
Laura says
A soaker hose? Inside the house? Now there’s an explanation I’d like to hear. 😉
Jackie says
I can’t wait to read his posts but will always, always side with you after all we girls have to have each other’s back.
