I think I’ve shared pictures of the pink bedroom in Chad and Nicole’s new house.
That was the room Addie wanted because it was pink. It’s the smallest room so they convinced her to take Bedroom #2 so she can have her toys and everything in her bedroom. She was ok with that so long as they painted her room pink. Chad grumbled but said it was going to be a “good shade of pink”.
Friday night was the first night they spent in the new house. I talked to them Saturday and asked Addie how she liked the new house. “Fine but she wanted to paint!”
They had gone Friday evening and let her pick out paint for her room.
I can just see her saying “I want to do it!” “Can I paint now?”
She’s painting, wearing her matching pink boots and matching pink shirt!
She has her pink room. And it is VERY pink! 🙂 What little girl who loves pink wouldn’t feel like a princess in this room? I love that the first room they painted was Addie’s room. Of course . . had they painted any other room first, she would have been most disappointed.

Now that is pink. My daughter had her room that color in our new house 35 years ago with gray as secondary color. She is a girl with her mind set at young age . Look out world. My Dd is now 46 still has her mind set on what and how she wants stuff.I miss those olden days.

Yowza! Pink it IS!! Glad she’s got her very own room in her very own color. Years ago, I painted my bedroom a really dark blue. It darkened the room and made it great for sleeping. Hope Addie’s bright pink doesn’t keep her up at night! LOL I bet she sleeps soundly no matter what.

My daughter had that pink. I called it pepto pink. It made the hallway glow. LOL Now, she hates pink.

That’s an eye-popping pink for sure! All that matters is that she loves it. When my oldest granddaughter got to pick her room’s paint she chose pink & lime green….both BRIGHT.

There is a guy at work who always compliments me on my sweaters. A few years ago I made a pink sweater, and the first time I wore it to work, he saw me and said, “That”s very…..pink!” (long pause after the “very”. LOL I would say that Addie’s room is very….Pink! (my sweater wasn’t as bright as her room!)

LOL! My son’s family just moved into a new house in November. The first room they painted was my granddaughter’s who is about a year older than Addie. It’s pink too!! I have to laugh though. She has a four poster canopy bed … with pink cammo bedding!!
