I sometimes listen to talk radio. Today I had to turn it off. Five minutes and I said . . enough. Then, as I sat down to knit, I thought – my knitting is kinda like politics today. I worked and worked and then had to rip it back so at the end of the day, it was a lot of bluster and nothing accomplished.
Last night I got the block done on the top left. This morning I added the middle block. When I looked at it, I thought . . hmmm . . it looks like I started picking up stitches about 2 stitches too far to the left but figured I’d work it out when I added the top right block. As you can see, it didn’t work out so I had to rip both those blocks out. I’ve started back working on the middle one. This has been a bit of a learning experience and it should be so easy.
A whole day of knitting and nothing to show for it. Yep, that sounds like many of our politicians, doesn’t it?
And that, my friends, is about as political as it gets here!

Thanks Judy. I love your blog and I love that there isn’t any politics!

That’s how my Sunday was. I ripped out and recast on a sock for the 3rd time (I’d put it away several years ago after messing up the first 2 times.) Ripped it out and restarted two more times before I finally got it sorted. Now I’m through the ribbing and onto the leg. Hopefully I’ll finish it before too many more years go by!

Ugh, I know what you mean. I had to rip out some stitches in a block for a quilt I’m making, then I went and sewed it wrong again! Now if that isn’t just like politics I don’t know what is. At least with crafts you get some good done
