Surely only an engineer would do something like this.
Vince has meetings all day today so he said he wouldn’t be coming home for lunch. I fixed tuna salad and sent him a container of that, along with a couple of pieces of toast and some other goodies for his lunch. The first zipper bag he grabbed was too small for the bread. I told him there were quart size bags, sandwich size bags and even gallon bags in the drawer .. just grab a bigger bag!
Nope. He said “I’ll just take a bite off one corner and it will fit.” Yep, he took a bite off one corner of both slices of the bread that’s supposed to be his sandwich for lunch! Why wouldn’t he just grab a bigger bag. It was a very easy fix but that would bug me . . and who wants to make a sandwich with a corner missing off the bread?

Brilliant fix! Go Vince Go! Love it! That’s a “why didn’t I think of that” moment!

Sorry Judy, but Vince was brilliant here! I know, not what you wanted to hear…..

Yep, good fix! It was fast, it didn’t waste a baggie, and so what about the corner? Just different-shaped bread!
BTW, married to an engineer (electrical, though) myself.

Seems like Vince would! That’s hilarious! A perfect example of how women and men process problems and solutions in different ways.
