Everything I cook, I try to plan how I can make enough to have multiple uses. The other day when I fried apples, I had some left over. Last night I heated them up, added Blue Bell homemade vanilla ice cream and warm caramel sauce.
Not so great for the waistline but pretty darned good, and pretty quick and easy!

You are evil Judy!! Mike and I have been on a “no refined sugar” diet since January 1 and it is killing this sugar addicted girl!

Oooo, that sounds so good!! I never even think about frying apples even though my mom used to do it from time to time. What else did you fry apples for?

I’m so jealous. Liberty, Missouri for some reason cannot get Bluebell ice cream. Somebody must have banned it here. We haven’t had any since they closed the plants a few years ago. The Homemade Vanilla is what we always had in the freezer. We cannot find any other I cream we like so we pretty much quit eating ice cream. Guess that’s better for the body shape but I sure do miss it.

I need to ask Chad if he knows how far north Blue Bell is in the Walmarts. I know Nevada has it but I don’t know if his store has it.

Oh, how I wish they sold Blue Bell up here in the DC area!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I had a bunch of apples that were on the edge of bad, so I fried them yesterday. I ate the last of them tonight…I just ate them plain though. I didn’t think about ice cream… 🙁
