My life and my days are so mundane but I love it that way. Routine . . nothing out of the ordinary for the most part. I don’t do well with change or when my schedule is messed up or things happen that aren’t on my schedule.
This is how weird my day has been today.
I knew I had to go to town today so last night I looked at my cell phone to see if I needed to charge it. It had 80% battery so that was good. I went to bed. Cell phone in the living room. No calls. No texting. No nothing.
I got up this morning and we had no internet. I would probably worry if we had a 24 hour period with the internet working but . . that’s a problem I cannot solve. No internet. Dead phone battery. That’s how my day started. There are people who would love to have my problems . . I know, but how did my phone have 80% charge at midnight and dead . . turned itself off dead . . at 5:45 a.m.?
Lucky our little hot spot device worked enough to give me some internet to do a couple of things I needed to do on the computer and the phone charged right up quickly.
Vince came home for lunch. That’s normal. He told me about the new incentive program for our health care. You need to get online, fill out this form, use your Fitbit to track your walking . . do this . . do that . . today please! As soon as you can please!
What the heck? I haven’t seen my Fitbit in months. Found it. Found the charger to another Fitbit but not to the one I wanted to use. Searching. Searching. Had to go get a haircut at 1:30. Finally found the right Fitbit charger.
Got ready to leave. Where’s my phone? When I was in the shower, I heard it ringing. Got out of the shower, got it, called Vince back. Had no idea where I had left it after that phone call. I was going to be late but I was going to a new haircut girl and the name of her shop and address were in my text messages. Could not call my phone to find it because we have no home phone. Vince has two cell phones . . one was by his chair. No . . he has a code to put in to use it. I don’t know the code. I can’t call him and ask him the code because I can’t find my phone. I got on Facebook and sent Nicole a message. “Please call me ASAP!” Then I found my phone. Then I texted her that she didn’t need to call me. She called anyway. “You lost your phone, huh?” 🙂
Got to the haircut place. Told the lady at the front who I was there to see at 1:30. She walked back there and apparently said “You’re 1:30 is here.” I sat there. She came up and got some man who was also waiting. Did his hair. Then she came up and got some kid and started to do his hair. The lady I had initially talked to went back and talked to her and she came up to talk to me. She didn’t have me down on the calendar. I had my text from when I had written her several weeks ago. Today. 1:30. She was so apologetic. She had been out of the shop when we were texting and forgot to put it down on her calendar. That’s ok . . She worked me in and I love my hair.
I came out of the shop and the temp had dropped about 20° and it was snowing! No coat . . of course! Three more stops I had to make and the wind is blowing like crazy. It feels like 22° . . I’m glad to be home and inside but I’m definitely wishing I had fed and watered the chickens before I left home. It is going to be miserable out there but it’s only going to get worse so . . I’m going outside and doing my chores.
Then I’m hoping to sit and knit and have no more craziness for the rest of the day.

May you have a boring rest-of-day. 😀

If your phone is searching for service, then it will drain the battery very fast.

It wasn’t. I keep it on airplane mode when in the house because it will connect to the wifi and we have too many things draining our wifi. I don’t have a clue what it did last night.

Here’s hoping it was a calm day afterward. Isn’t this weather nuts? We had 65 and sunny yesterday, 50 and pouring rain much of today, fog when I went to school at 6:30 tonight, and tomorrow’s high is about sunrise, with possibly an inch of snow by the end of the day. I want to go back to Arizona where every day is either warm or hot and the sun is not an issue with anything you plan to do! LOL

Sounds like you are having a day and 1/2 … I dislike those days as all I want to do is go back to bed. hahahaha
