Vince had another menu request Monday evening. This time there was no mention of a yarn reward but, the good wife that I am, I’m granting his wish.
Just before bed Monday night, he said “I’d love some good ribs!” Your wish is my command!
One of my niece’s daughters, who will be graduating from high school this year, called them “rubs” for the longest time. I have a hard time not calling them rubs because we joked so much about her wanting more “rubs”.
After knitting yesterday, I ran by the grocery store and got ribs, seasoned them and will put them on the smoker as soon as it’s a bit more daylight out there. I’m fixing baked beans in the pressure cooker (as soon as I wash it from having made yogurt in it last night) and a salad.
Sounds to me like I’m going to have a lot of knitting time today!

Get a second IP liner. You will not regret it. I have 3!

I have two Instant Pots and a Cuisinart electric pressure cooker. I don’t regret it but I knew it was going to be just a few minutes until the yogurt was done and I could use the IP for the beans .. no need to get a second one out and have to clean two.

Ah, that makes sense. When I am home, I use my IP a few times a day. I don’t remember what it was like to cook without it!
