Last night after getting as far as I could get with the ruffle project, I grabbed a sock project. One sock was done and the second one was started. Why is starting the second sock so hard? These are toe up and I haven’t done that enough that I can do it without reading the instructions so I got out the instructions and got the second sock started.

Got that much done, now it’s stockinette til I get to the heel area so I’ll have knitting to do in the car. I halfway thought I could get past the heel tonight and then have just the foot to knit in the car but that may have been optimistic. I haven’t knitted any today and probably won’t get to knit much this evening but . . every bit of progress is good progress, right?
