Here we are . . the last Knitting Report of 2017. I’m glad to start a new year . . a clean slate!
There hasn’t been a lot of knitting going on this week and I’ve pretty much shown everything already but I’ll show it again just to have something to report.
Patterns Added:
Twisted Stitches Fingerless Mitts – Free when I added it.
Black Frost – Discounted through the end of the year.
Yarn Added:
I’ve already discussed the yarn that has arrived while I’m gone but I’m not home yet so I can’t show pictures and once 2018 arrives, there will be no talk of yarn added . . or at least not much talk about it. 🙂
Projects I Worked On:
You know I’ve worked on Nordnordwest. I love this project.
I’ve also already shown Barb’s Koigu Ruffle.
I knitted a few rows on Sunset Highway but didn’t make enough progress to justify a new photo (and besides . . the phone is on the charger in the bedroom and Vince is already in bed).
Knitting Plans for next Week:
The most important part of my plan for next week, and next year and maybe the rest of my life (how’s that for planning far into the future?), I’m going to spend less time on the internet and more time knitting or doing something else constructive. Some evenings I’m so tired and it’s easier to sit and play on the internet that pick up the knitting needles. I’m going to do better!
But, as far as knitting plans for next week, here’s what I hope to accomplish:
- Finish Barb’s Koigu Ruffle
- Get through at least the second section of Nordnordwest
- Work on the January UFO project
Also, beginning with next week’s report, which is the first report of 2018, I’m going to add sections to this report to include Projects Started and Projects Finished. These lists will be cumulative and I’ll strike through the project on the “Projects Started” section once it’s finished.

I couldn’t tell from the photos on Ravelry: is Black Frost a long rectangular shawl or a triangular one? I prefer a triangular one and that is so pretty! Thanks for posting it.

The description says “crescent shaped” so I guess more triangular than rectangular but not really triangular.
