This is a project I brought along that I decided to work on this afternoon.
There’s no telling how long ago I started this project . . years! It’s Barb’s Koigu Ruffle. I purchased the pattern in December, 2012. The yarn is Yukon by Pagewood Farm, and the color is Army Girl. I could not remember the color name but the yarn band is in the drawer of my end table and has been there since I started this project. Every time I clean out the drawer, I say “Save that til you finish that project!” I had to get on Ravelry and search colors to find the name of it and then I remembered. Then I went back to my trusty yarn purchased spreadsheet, which I keep password protected so Mr. Budget doesn’t find it . . and learned that I purchased this yarn in 2012 during Eat, Sleep, Knit’s Black Friday Sale, which was November 23, 2012 if anyone is wondering. Five years, that’s long enough . . I will get this rascal finished soon!
Actually, I thought the project was Just Enough Ruffles, which is also in my Ravelry library. I downloaded the pattern, set it up in Knit Companion, started reading it and trying to figure out where I was but everything was backwards so I had to go back to my Ravelry library and search “ruffles” because I knew the name had ruffles in it somewhere. That’s how I discovered it was Barb’s Koigu Ruffle so I had to download that one and then I got started again.
I hope I can finish this one before I put it down and have to go through all this again five years from now!

That’s going to be very pretty in that yarn. I made one of those but it wasn’t really as long as I would have liked. I’ve always thought about making another and making it longer but then I remember all…those… stitches and even more to make it longer and decide against. it. 🙂

I don’t think this one is going to be as long as I would like it either but done is good!
