For a couple of days before Christmas, Sherry and I were planning and cooking. Then it was Christmas Day. Then yesterday we looked at houses, went into town, came back to my uncle’s place, got quotes for insurance, checked on high speed internet, made calls about getting air conditioning quotes. Today, we will meet with the a/c guy when he calls us to meet him at the house that’s for sale. Other than that, I don’t think we have any plans. Vince would like to fish a bit but it’s been cold. Yesterday it was raining. Today it’s going to be cold and raining . . not sure if he’s going to get to fish or not.
We’re heading hope a day, maybe two early.
Our lows Sunday and Monday is predicted to be 2°. That’s cold for our area. We’ll have to get heaters going in the chicken coops, make sure the faucets are ok. We have caps on all the outside faucets but we’ll need to leave water dripping in the house. A high of 19 and a low of 2 on Monday . . that’s too cold. We’ll have to use different water containers for the chickens. Ughh! Not looking forward to that.
But, we still have a few days here and we’re going to enjoy every minute of our time here.

Boy that is going to be cold. Guess it will reach us by the weekend. I don’t mind cold but not cold and raining too. Hope sun comes out so Vince can get in at least one time fishing. Good luck with house too.

Our high for Sunday is supposed to be 9 below, wind chill will make it 24 below. The low is supposed to be 22 below, wind chill will make it 29 below. I think the only place in the country that’s fairly warm right now is southern Florida. Way too darned cold!!!

Our high today was around 20. I had an appointment this morning, and it was 12 when I left home. I could swear the car was shivering…
