Poor Vince! I sometimes wonder if he wishes he had a wife who thinks more like he thinks but . . that’s a scary thought.
I’m not complaining . . I’m glad he’s concerned and glad he’s checking into everything before he retires but he keeps reading and researching and I’ve already said “I trust you. I trust your judgment! I trust everything about you! I don’t want to be involved in this!”
This morning Vince was up early. I was still trying to snooze a few minutes. He came in and said “I was reading about provisional income. Can you please read this?” He handed me his tablet. I started reading. B.O.R.I.N.G. He didn’t come back. I flipped over to Miss Babs because sometime during the night, I remembered more yarn that I needed.
He came in . . what do you think about the provisional income? Honestly, I think if you spend it all right now, you don’t have to worry about paying taxes at a higher rate on your social security income. So . . I’m looking at yarn. Not the response he wanted.
But . . Miss Babs’ sale is still going on and how can you say no to yarn that’s on sale?

Thankfully Toby knows better than to poke the bear while I’m sleeping nor talk to me for at least an hour after this bear is up.

This made me smile. I wouldn’t even consider SSI as income. By the time they tax half of it, take out medicare, and generally mess around with it, you can’t buy much yarn from anyone at all!
