No, not the cookie molds but this gives me hope. I shouldn’t tell you this stuff because you’re going to have me committed.
Yesterday Vince asked me if I knew where one of our duffle bags might be. I told him no, but there’s a small camo bag in the closet of one of the extra bedrooms. I went in there, pulled the bag out from under a stack of boots and . . what the heck is in this bag? I do not remember when or where I took this bag but it had some of the most interesting things in it.
We got new Kindle Fires at the Black Friday sale in 2016. I had no idea where mine was. Now I know.
If it hasn’t been opened, is it still good?
I remember buying this toothpaste because I had forgotten mine but I have no idea where I was or when I did that.
We keep mosquito spray in our cars but where was I going that I had it in my bag?
Wherever I was going, I must have planned to stay a while because there’s at least a dozen pairs of socks in there and even more underwear. I think I had not been to Chad and Nicole’s since August, 2016 until I went last month. I have no idea where else I would have gone that I would have taken that much stuff. If I didn’t get the Kindle Fire til November, 2016, it couldn’t have been packed for a trip to Chad’s.
And why did I put the bag in the closet without unpacking it? None of this makes any sense.
Oh . . wait . . I went to my uncle’s place on the lake in March or April of this year and I’m betting that’s what it was for. I would have brought mosquito spray there (Louisiana). Whew . . glad that mystery is solved. Still don’t know why I stuck the whole bag in the closet and never thought about it again and still don’t have a clue where my cookie molds might be.

I love your stories. I have two littles who are hopeless bag packers. Every time I find one of their bags of treasures, I have to investigate to see what might be mine! It’s hilarious.

I love your stories, because I see myself in them. 🙂

I am glad someone else does that same thing as me. I am missing a bag with blocks ready to be put together. I have gone through the entire house….can’t find it. Lol!

I was going to suggest maybe it was a LA trip due to the bug spray! LOL

Whew! I thought there for a bit it was when we had our rug hooking lesson. Nope, I am the one one who arrived with far too much stuff. It is still a fun memory to look back on.

Oh, Judy, you make me laugh only because I see myself in your story.

So glad we have you to show that we aren’t the only ones to lose things. A few years ago when I was driving myself and my husband crazy trying to find something I decided that sometimes it was just easier to buy a new one of what ever it was. Look how lucky you are though. You have a dozen pair of socks and underwear and a Kindle Fire. My husband used to have a to go bag for when he’d get those dreaded phone calls that his Mom was in the hospital and he was needed. Kept it near his side of the bed and all he had to do was dress and leave.

Funny, but it makes me wonder just how much underwear and socks you own that you didn’t miss a dozen!

OMG, don’t feel bad Judy….today looking for the title to my SUV, I found $$$. I have this bad habit of unzipping the lining in my suitcases, & hiding stuff..things.. jewelry.. a checkbook(I hardly ever write one of those things anymore) things I seem to think someone might want to take..but today I found the spare set of keys to my SUV & a wad of 100.00’s & 20.00’s. Yippee!!! Can’t for the life of me, remember when I put those things there…but I did. I guess those things just needed to be safe…..Husband says I need to stop hiding things so they are safe… I will continue looking for my SUV’s title…..now to remember where it could be….

Maybe you were just tired when you got back and you thought “I will unpack this after I lay down for a while.” Then you put it in the closet and forgot you had not unpacked it!! Good story and I would stick to that!! LOL I do the same thing! Right now I am looking for a knitting pattern that I had in my hands just last week! Now when I want to do it, I can’t find it! It was always turning up and I was getting frustrated by finding it every time I looked for something! It will also turn up sometime when I am least expecting it! LOL
