Today was my knitting day so I got a bit of knitting done there. My goal for today was to get the center triangle finished and get the stitches around it picked up. That’s done . . there’s lots of stockinette to be done so that will be good roadtrip knitting.

Ughh! You know what that looks like! I’m not saying the “S” word but, don’t panic . . it’s just a stockinette triangle that’s all curled up around itself.

The lighting in this house is so bad and the bright yellow mat doesn’t help but I love the colors. Maybe tomorrow I’ll try to get a better picture.
I still haven’t decided if I’m going to make it one color or use the green. I did find a skein of this yarn on Ravelry de-stash so I bought it but it won’t be here before I leave on my trip so my choices are:
- Make it one color and smaller if I want to finish it while I’m gone.
- Make it two color and bigger and finish it while I’m gone.
- Knit til I run out of yarn and wait to finish it when I get back and the additional yarn is here.
One thing for sure . . I have plenty of projects to keep me busy. I’m not even sure that using two colors with just two skeins of the multi will give me enough yarn to finish it because I don’t want to use too much of the green. If I use it at all, I want it to be more of an accent.
I’ll just work on it and decide what to do later . . it’s too late to be making major decisions tonight. 🙂
