My friend gave me my Christmas gift yesterday and she wanted me to open it so I did. She was telling me they had been at someone’s house and they had one of these . . they had gotten it in Uruguay and called it a Provolera. My friend found the EZ-Melter and got one for each of us. I used it for lunch yesterday and absolutely love it.
I used Gruyere cheese and caramelized some onions and topped the cheese. The recipe is on the EZ-Melter recipe page.

I need to see what other cheeses we have here. I’d like to make some tomorrow and use fresh basil in it.

just wondering, couldn’t you use mini muffin pans, just in the oven not microwave?
