You’re going to hear about those darned cookie molds til I find them. I went over to the sewing room this afternoon and went through every tub of yarn just in case I stuck the cookie mold tub in there during an emergency cleaning session. Nope. Not in there. I went back to my area of the shop and went through every shelf and physically inspected every container . . just in case I thought they were in a Rubbermaid type container but they were in something else. Nope. I went through both extra closets again. I looked under both beds again. Nope. Truly, when I start putting things out of sight, there’s no telling where they will end up. I’m really at my wit’s end looking for those things.
I went to Springerle Joy, put some of the new ones for 2017 in my cart because I knew I didn’t have any of those. Then I talked myself out of it. Chances are they won’t arrive before we leave town. I went to Amazon but none of the Springerle Joy molds were on Prime so . . I gave up and used the rolling pins to make the cookies.
Obviously, I made bread. I normally make one loaf but I had quite a bit of sourdough starter so I made two loaves. I figured I’d stick one in the fridge. We still have leftover tomato soup and clam chowder and we will have soup and sandwiches til that’s gone so I wasn’t worried about the bread getting moldy. Then, a friend came by after work to help Vince with a leaking pipe outside so I sent him home with cookies and a loaf of bread. Solved that problem.
Now . . if someone could just find my cookie molds, everything would be peachy!

Have you looked in the attic? Stranger things have happened.

Hmm you made cookies last year you bought molds didn’t you? Or was it the year before and I thought you bought or sent molds to your DIL or is my mind going. One year you had a new cabinet installed so it meant things moved around. Maybe you put them in a hutch or a bedroom ..

Hope you find them. Drives me crazy when that happens to me so I can relate.

Any chance the molds could be with the containers you store the cookies in?

Maybe they fell behind a drawer? In my kitchen, when the drawers are full, things get scraped off and fall inside the drawer case when I open it.

Did you check the blog in case you made a comment on it about where you were going to store them?

Blame Cat or Rita … My dog loves to take things and hid them if they are made of silicone. I have no idea why she does it … but then do we have any idea why our furkids do what they do ?
