Chalk this one up as a yarn victory! After finishing the gold and purple shawl last night, I was ready to cast on a new project. I guess this means there’s no hope of me starting one project and sticking with it through completion. There are plenty of things I could be working on but I was wanting to start Gardens of Giverny Stole.
The pattern is shown in Malabrigo Sock and I have very little of that so I went to my favorite online yarn shops put a few skeins in the carts, then I talked myself into going stash diving to see what I could find.
I think these two colors will go well together.
Wound and ready to use. Both skeins are Miss Babs Hot Shot. The solid green is Nori and the multi is Soul Food. Needles are ready . . I’m going to cast on now.

Thanks! I’ll have a picture tonight.

Can you speak to your blog designer about the Amazon gift card add that takes over EVERY time I open your page? Can’t close it. Have to go back to the beginning and try to open your blog again. Irritating. I’d post a screen shot but comments section has no way to do this.

I can’t decide on which to knit…shawl or stole, normally I prefer rectangular wraps, but I’m not sure on this one. I didn’t look too hard, but don’t think I have anything in stash that would work…so I ordered some Malabrigo. I can’t wait to start it. I do think it is beautiful!!! Can’t wait to see how yours looks!

What colors did you get? Malabrigo is so pretty. I usually like shawls better but the stole spoke to me on this one.

I love those colors together. I can’t wait to see it in progress.

It is looking so good. I’ll post pictures tonight. I opened one tub of yarn, saw these two and said . . YES! This is really a fun pattern. (You might like it!) 🙂
