This cold weather has me wanting nothing but soup. All morning I kept thinking about the tomato soup that was left in the fridge and then I remembered that I had a few cans of clams. I asked Vince if he would rather have clam chowder or potato soup and he said clam chowder.

It was so good. Just what I needed to warm me up. We had been watching the Army/Navy game and just looking at the TV and all that snow made me cold.

Describe cold! 30 here in SE NH with 2″ of snow and still falling quickly. First snow of the year. It can stop and leave now!!! I was busy up in the studio. Finally looked up and saw that it was snowing. Went to the window and the ground was covered.

LOVE oyster stew even if it is made from canned oysters. Not the same as fresh but it will do. My dad would make it for Fri evening dinners and bake corn bread.
