Shortly after posting about having trouble getting into the rhythm with Pearla Lace Shawl, I told myself that I need to get back to it and get it done. The longer it sits, the harder it would be to get it done so I picked it up and did it. Late tonight I finished it. I’ll probably block it tomorrow.
Then, I needed another project so I dug out Nordnordwest, which I started in June.
This will be a great roadtrip project so I’m going to get to the point where I don’t have to count or pay much attention and then pack it into my roadtrip bag.
It was a good knitting day.

Ohh, I LOVE the ‘fade’ in those colors–so beautiful. So glad you got it done..can’t wait to see it all blocked and ready to wear!

Thanks so much Judy for all your posts on knitting. Every one is a delight. I enjoy taking your Friday list and checking it out on Ravelry. I have about 9 projects going, and spend a lot of relaxing time knitting. Need to get on with finishing 4-5 shawls I’ve made, blocking and finishing yarn ends. If you have any recommendations on that, I’m all ears. Don’t know if I’ll get to fine lace shawls with beads but I sure enjoy your picks and the progress you make with yours.

I’ll say it was a good knitting day! Wow! That shawl is gorgeous! Do you ever sleep? LOL

I don’t think I require a lot of sleep but when I do sleep, I’m out like a rock and don’t ever wake up even once during the night.

Do you wear all of these beautiful shawls you knit? I always say that the one you are showing is my favorite, then you show another one that I love as well!
Judy Laquidara says
I give away a lot of them but I wear some of them. I’m glad to hear that someone else does that. I always say “This is my favorite of all” and then I make another one and say the same thing.
