It’s probably the same just about everywhere but the old saying “If you don’t like the weather, just wait til tomorrow” is so true this time of year around here. In the summer, it’s just hot, sunny and dry day after day but we get a few surprises during the fall and winter especially.
It’s been hot. We’ve had the air conditioner running for about a week. We did have a few cold days a while back. We have a road trip coming up so I was looking at Accuweather to see what I need to do about heat in the greenhouse. I knew it was supposed to be cooler tomorrow but . .
Snow? 78° today and snow possible on Wednesday night?
My feeling is that I’ll take snow any time I can get it. I think I’d better go out and take care of the chickens before that gusty north wind starts blowing tonight.

Showing the wind will not start until around 2 am and it will be at least 17 mph!

Wow, that IS a big change. We’re dropping temperatures, too. 66 today, 58 tomorrow and then into the 40s for the next 8 days, at least. Sigh. Nights are going to be below freezing after Thursday – the leave-the-water-dripping below freezing. It was so lovely while the mild weather lasted, but I guess we’re finished now. Homesickness for Phoenix can begin any minute now. LOL
