Yesterday the first (of four) clues was released for the Stargazing Mystery Knit Along. Since finding Anna Victoria’s patterns, all I want to do is knit lace and add beads. Even though I had sworn off doing mystery knit alongs, I knew anything she did would be right up my alley.
Clue #1 was divided into two parts. I intended to do the first part yesterday and get the second part done some time before the second clue comes out on December 8 but once I started, I couldn’t stop.
Obviously it’s just plopped down and not shaped correctly but it’s beautiful. This is the yarn I’m using and it’s dyed by Wendy’s Wonders.
I started with the green, even though it looks blue in the first photo. The designer suggested three different beads and the pattern shows where to place which beads. Not sure if you can see it in the first photo but there are two different beads so far. The ones along the outer edge are the metallic looking ones that are shown on the skein in the second picture. The others are some frosty rosy pinkish beads.
It doesn’t matter which beads I’m using .. just so I’m using beads! 🙂

Gorgeous! Do you know, on my iPad screen the yarn reads as slightly variegated gray and the beads as violet? And the combination is lovely! My quilter’s brain is tucking that away. lol

I’m with Dar on what appears to be the color combo. My laptop is translating those colors the same and I luv it!!!! LOL!
