Knitting Report – December 1, 2017

Hard to believe it’s December already! I guess I always think I will get more done than I really do get done. When I go back to list my projects, it seems like I should have more to show for my week.

Patterns Added:

The only pattern added this week was Jacqui’s Easy Coasters. It’s crochet . . what was I thinking? I think I was thinking I could make a bunch of them from leftover sock yarn.

Yarn Added:

The bulk of what I ordered on Black Friday is supposed to arrive Saturday. I’m keeping my fingers crossed that it will arrive today. As of this moment, tracking hasn’t been upated since Wednesday so . . my fingers are crossed for an early arrival. What did arrive was what I got from The Loopy Ewe’s holiday weekend sale.

Blue Moon was one of the yarns on sale and I bought three skeins of Crackpaca to try. I hear such great things about it.

Also Blue Moon is Marine Silk Lace, which I’ve never tried.

Also the Loopy Solid Series is marked way down. This is fingering weight but put up in 220 yard skeins.

Projects I Worked On:

One hat was finished and another one started and finished.

A pair of mitts was started and finished.

Pearla had been started before I left home. I’ve knit a few rows on it while away. This will be the first thing I finish once I get home because I think I only have about 16 rows left on it . . though they’re long rows.

A little progress was made on All Points South.

Knitting Plans for this Week:

• The ADVENTurous Wrap starts today so I’d like to keep up with that.
• The Stargaziging MKAL pattern was released last night. I’ll start that today.
• It would be nice to make some good progress on All Points South.
• I haven’t touched Pearla Lace Shawl since I left to go to Louisiana. I don’t think it would take much to get that finished.
