This evening Vince was working late so I was home alone. This morning I was busy and never had time to eat breakfast. I didn’t eat a lot of lunch and I was hungry this evening. We mostly skip dinner but, being alone and being hungry, I decided to have dinner. I sound so pathetic . . alone and hungry! You know it isn’t that bad.
It was pretty much all homegrown: Eggs from my chickens, satsumas from my dad’s trees, pecans from a friend’s trees here and toast from homemade bread. Sometimes it’s nice to be able to eat whatever you want to eat . . even if the combination makes no sense.

I do that all the time! Since I don’t have anyone else in the house I can eat whatever I want and no one will ever know… 🙂

That looks like my kind of meal. I love the little clementines, but when I read about the California fruit growers watering their trees with fracking water I quit buying them. Kinda of pricey anyway.

Eat whatever makes your heart happy … That is what I do at dinner, it may not make sense-but at that moment it sounds so good !!

Just looking at that Satsuma has my mouth watering. A perfect meal in my opinion.

They are so good this year. Wish they would grow here.
