The final UFO post . . December’s number is:
#6
I had hoped the UFO challenge would get me back to finishing UFO’s but it did not.
Somewhere deep within, I do feel the need to go over and play with my fabrics . . just not enough to put the knitting down and go do it. Maybe some day but not today.
If you’ve made progress on any of your UFO projects through the year, or if you’d like to do a post and list all your progress through the year, please link up here.

I think I need to do the UFO # thing for my knitting and/or weaving…I don’t quite have 12 UFO’s but I easy could have if I started just a couple more things. Off the top of my head I have 3 pair of socks, 4 sweaters, a baby blanket, and a shawl on the needles, and 2 languishing weaving projects. If you count bobbinlace projects I have more than 12 total, because I have at least 4 bobbinlace projects in progress…The baby blanket does have a deadline, since babies arrive on a schedule. She’s not going to just stay pregnant…LOL. Fortunately that one is 75% done, and I plan to finish it by the end of the month!

This year has found me Rug Hooking without finishing projects. I have five, yes 5, medium to large rugs started. That doesn’t count all th So I have finished Hooking and they need binding. I would have never done this as a quilter so not sure what allowed this monster to become part of my life. The sad part is it’s too late in the year to successfully finish the hooking of all five before 2018 arrives. I really must as I have signed up for two rug camps in 2018. Oh, there are also two quilts I must make in 2018. Help!!!

I can actually say I finished one. My granddaughter graduates from high school and is going to a dorm in January. So I finished her quilt for her graduation gift. She wanted a neutral quilt so it is off white gray and very dark navy. But the fabrics are all quite interesting with very small amounts of color in teal and gray and navy and green tiny dots and some have larger texures in the same colors with bigger circles and plus signs.
I also have two tops finished this week.
