There hasn’t been much knitting to report. I guess because I didn’t get home til Sunday, then I was unpacking and getting back on track on Monday, Tuesday was my knitting day and I spent most of the day away from home. I never get a whole lot of knitting done while there but it’s fun. Wednesday I was getting cooking done for Thanksgiving and . . well, yesterday was all about eating and sleeping and here it is Friday.
Patterns Added:
With the Gift Along and patterns being 25% off, I did buy a few patterns. Lots of hats, a couple of pairs of slipper socks and a few other things.
DaVinci Cowl – This looks like fun. It’s a mathematical formula for making a cowl that pools. I’m actually going to start that today.
Brezel
Grounder Hat
Northward Hat
Piccolo Pyrus
Little Summer Shawl
Pierogi Slipper Socks
Ballet Slippers
Elena Half Hap
Declan’s Hat
Shallows Mitts
Yarn Added:
A few packages of yarn arrived while I was away and I wrote about it all in this post. I’m not going to copy it all here but if you want to see it, it’s all in that post.
Projects I Worked On:
I made one little troll hat for Addie.
I started another hat with the same yarn but didn’t finish it. That’s the extent of my knitting this week.
Knitting Plans for this Week:
- Finish the second pink hat.
- Make another hat for Addie out of leftovers of another pink hat. (Gift Along project)
- Start the DiVinci Cowl and get far enough along to see if my math is correct. (Gift Along project)
- Get back to Pearla Lace Shawl and maybe get it finished.
- Get started on Shallows Mitts. (Gift Along project)
It sounds like a lot but I don’t think I have any plans for the next week . . we’ll see how that goes!

Thanks for the link! I had to stay up late last night and look at all 113 pages! I did get one pattern, the Turtle Beach Shawl, which I want to make for my North Carolina daughter, who helps the baby turtles get to the sea each year.

The DiVinci Cowl is absolutely gorgeous. So silky looking. I’d wear that everywhere!!!!! I don’t knit or that would be on my needles immediately. Please show us your results.
