Even though I knew I was going to go to Louisiana soon, I wasn’t exactly sure when I was leaving. When I talked to my uncle and he said “come now”, I knew I was packing and leaving right away. Briefly, the thought ran through my mind . . there’s a lot of stuff going to be arriving when you’re gone!
Vince gives me a hard time about what I order. I assume he’s joking. Whether he is or he isn’t . . I’m going to keep assuming he’s joking but still, I’d rather him not see every package that comes through that mail box. At one point while I was gone, he said “I had no idea how much stuff you order!” The truth is . . I haven’t been ordering much but I really had placed quite a few orders the week before I left. They were mostly small and I think every one of them fit in the mail box but still, every day there was a package.
I had ordered beads and some of them were out of stock so I think one bead order came in four different packages! I had ordered hand dyed yarn from Russia months ago and, as my luck would have it, that package arrived while I was gone. I had ordered an Advent kit from Miss Babs back in September and, yep, it arrived while I was gone. I was in two yarn clubs this year. One went out quarterly, one went out monthly. Of course, they both arrived while I was gone.
This is the last of the Strickmich yarn for this year and I’m not joining any yarn clubs next year. This one is Miss Babs. I don’t even know which base . . didn’t open it or look closely but I love it.
There are a couple of months left in the Canon Hand Dye yarn club.
This is yarn that was ordered in early October.
This is the advent kit that was ordered in September.
This is actually the only yarn I had ordered recently. There was a Knit Along that was starting November 1 and I wasn’t sure which yarn I wanted to use so I ordered three different ones. But, starting this late isn’t going to work so I’ll save it for another project.
Beads! I would say I was trying to match something blue-ish green and something purple but at this point, I don’t have a clue. More beads into the bead stash.
All in all, it wasn’t as many packages as Vince made it sound like I was getting and if you consider how many of those had been ordered months ago, I think it wasn’t much at all!

You certainly make me feel less guilty about all the quilting/sewing stuff I buy. 🙂

Well, that was an unfortunate bunch of coincidences! It gave Vince some grist for his “you buy a lot” mill. *chuckle*

I don’t buy hardly anything any more, but I love seeing what you buy. Tell Vince if it makes you happy, that’s the most important thing.
