Eat, Sleep, Knit T-shirts

I’m probably wrong about all of this but I think it was 2014 when Eat, Sleep, Knit did their first yarnathon that had four teams with names. There were the roboknitters, stitchasaurs, octopurls and fibermonkeys. I could be wrong about some of those but I believe stitchasaurs and octopurls are correct for sure. I was a stitchasaur (I think).

I ended up with a red stitchasaur shirt, because I think I won that as a prize, and I ended up with a green octopurl shirt because at the end of the year, they sold the leftover shirts at a discount. 

When Chad, Nicole and Addie were at my house last year, I was folding laundry and Addie saw the red shirt and fell in love so I gave it to her. She was so happy a the first day I was here when she came out wearing that shirt. She wanted me to notice that it was the shirt she had given me.

I totally wasn’t even thinking about it and I had on the green octopurl shirt a couple of days ago. Addie looked at me and looked at my shirt and had the biggest smile. I said “Do you want this one too?” Yes! I told her I’d wear it the rest of the day, wash it and give it to her.

She slept in it last night and was not happy when I asked for a picture this morning when she was just waking up.

She wakes up just like her daddy . . grumpy!

It takes a few minutes but soon she’s happy and smiling again.
