If it was up to me, we’d have trail cams all over the place. We know there are critters that pass through, some once or twice and some regularly. Often we’ll see strange tracks or holes dug in the yard or even pieces what something has had for dinner.
I think we keep two or three cameras out and Vince sent some pictures yesterday.
There were lots of turkeys out there. I think they’re eating the deer corn.
Looks like lots of animals passing by to get a drink of water.
There was a little owl getting a drink. He’s probably hoping for a chicken dinner.
A couple of does drinking.
Even Mr. Fox needed a drink.
These may be the same two that were drinking in an earlier picture. It’s always fun to see what’s dining and drinking in our woods.

That’s very cool, I would love to have one of those cams here where I live! Looks like y’all could have turkey dinners more than once a year. 🙂

One thing for sure…you’re never home alone. Thanks for sharing the pictures with us.

You’re right. I just hope it’s critters.

You’ve talked about critters before, but pictures are worth thousands of words!

There are so many critters. Lots of skunks and we’ve seen mountain lions. Too many cats and dogs. There’s an occasional wild pig . . you never know what’s back there.

That would be very cool to check out, most of the time anyway (yikes!). That’s a TON of turkeys!! I’ve often wondered what could possibly be in my backyard that I wouldn’t imagine.

Makes me wish further out in the country.. Love the pictures.

Those are cool pictures. We live in the city but our property used to be home to a man who had a white tail deer business. We have seen red foxes, groundhogs, raccoons, coyotes and red tail haws as well as lots of deer in the past. Now not so much since several subdivisions have sprung up around us. May have to look into getting one of those cameras.

Trail cams are fun! I have one set up at my folks acreage. I keep capturing a pic oh a HUGE buck. I keep hoping for a mountain lion, a bobcat, or boogey man…but no luck yet!

Love these pictures!! We saw about as many deer (as the turkeys) near the baseball fields and Church of the Good Shepherd on Friday! That is right in the middle of town! Yesterday we saw a small deer on Austin Avenue that someone had run over! Nothing like living in a Texas country town!
