My first night in MO and we went to my favorite Mexican restaurant. It’s hard for me to understand why the Mexican restaurant in Missouri is better than any Mexican restaurant in Texas.
Family
The food was excellent but the family time was fantastic.
Burrito
Too bad I was starving by the time we ate or I might have remembered to take a picture before eating half of it. It’s my favorite – avocado pork burrito. I think we’ll be going back a few more times before I leave here.

Hmm, I have a few faves here in the DFW area. When we moved from OKC to VA 100 yrs ago, we found exactly ONE Mexican restaurant so it was either eat there or no ‘mexican’ food at all. We did eat there some but not often. Here I could eat it every couple of days.

Every Mexican state has different food styles. Ilike Sonoran and every restaurant here serves Chihuahuan or Oaxacan recipes. I like a lot of them, but it isn’t the same. Don’t EVER come here and order a sopapilla! You get fried cinnamon-and-sugar-coated flour tortillas. =P
