With the time change, I have to get up earlier to catch the sunrise.
This photo isn’t the sunrise reflecting on the water but it’s someone’s light but it’s still very pretty with the clouds quickly passing by. As I stepped outside, I could hear music from a local church.
So much bad news, so much sadness . . but so much beauty surrounds us. Sometimes, the world seems to be spinning out of control . . tears, heartache, pain everywhere.
I sat out on the deck this morning and watched as daylight overtook darkness and I prayed that somehow, in this world, we can begin to see more light and less darkness. I know there are no answers but I keep asking . . why. Why cancer? Why so much violence and hatred?
Of course, I have no answers but I am thankful for the signs and scenes that bring me peace and comfort in the midst of everything going on in this world.

Beautiful picture. – Yes, we need more light and less darkness. I too have no answers, just hopes and prayers…and trying to be a positive force myself. I often think of the following lyrics: “Now, I found, that the world is round, and of course it rains everyday.” [somewhere]

Yes, we need more light in this world–I’ve just about stopped reading the news. Cancer is so awful–I look at the people who have left our lives too soon and it makes me so sad. I look at those great grandchildren of ours and think, “oh, LoraLee, you would have loved these babies so much, you would have been such a great grandmother!”

Beautiful picture and it really reflects on the current times. I agree that more lightness is needed and less darkness.

That’s a beautiful picture, and I’m glad you shared your thoughts. Each of us has a little light to share. We can bring more light.
