I love rain. I love thunder when not accompanied by tornadoes. If I could change one thing about our current location . . ok two things because the first thing will always be that Chad, Nicole and Addie would be closer but other than that, the one thing would be that we would get rain.
Wednesday driving in, there were clouds all around me and I was right near the end of my trip before I got into rain and then it was a brief shower. I could see that it had rained almost the entire last half of my trip but had stopped before I got there.
Yesterday I went out to run a few errands and when I came out of the grocery store, it was so cloudy.
Seeing those clouds reminded me how much I love a cloudy day and the anticipation of a rain storm. Going for months and months without rain . . I don’t like it; but, along with the rain comes humidity. I keep trying to decide if the humidity is worth getting the rain. I still haven’t decided so I guess this proves once again that Vince is right . . I don’t know what the heck I want. But, I do know what I want . . low humidity and a shower at least every other day. I’m guessing that’s impossible . . which gives you some indication of the battle within my head about where we should retire. 🙂

I would give up the rain, if the humidity and mold and other things went with it! I miss the desert, but at least the Sonora Desert has two rainy seasons a year.
