Our little knitting group here may not be such a great idea because anything another knitter makes, we all want to make. I feel like I’m always blaming “B” for something. It was her idea to make Miss Grace and I followed right along.
Three of us made Miss Grace and one of the ladies has made two!
If I had to guess, I’d say that “B” blames me pretty often for some of the projects she gets into but we’re only talking about what a bad influence she is . . we’re not talking about me, right? Thank you!
“B” isn’t afraid to leave her home or our town (unlike moi). She visits some really nice knitting shops a couple of hours in several directions from here and one day, she came back talking about Mi Casa Wrap. She had seen one in a shop. I can’t remember if she talked to the designer or if she talked to someone who dyed yarn but anyway . . she talked to someone. (She talks to everyone . . all the time! “B” . . not me!)
She bought yarn while in the knitting shop to make it Mi Casa so, of course, I had to order yarn. I ordered yarn and added it to my cart one year ago today.
My yarn is Miss Babs’ Kaweah. Don’t panic if you look at the pattern. I have two more skeins of the gray. I just didn’t haul them outside for the picture because I could only carry 5 and didn’t want to make two trips.
Sometime before this day is over, on the anniversary of adding this to my queue, I’m going to cast on and get started knitting it. I’m excited to get started.
I might add that my friend’s colors are classic and calming. Me . . give me lime green and life is good! 🙂

Your link to Mi Casa Wrap goes back to Miss Grace, but I went and looked it up on Ravelry. Very pretty! I can’t wait to see it.
