Frozen Dinner

While some, maybe most, frozen dinners are not my favorites, I like keeping on or two in the freezer for those days when I want one. Most days, even if I’m not cooking, there’s something homemade in the freezer, leftovers in the fridge or I’m pretty happy with a tuna salad sandwich but every now and then, I want a meal that someone else made . . even if it was in a factory.

Frozen Dinner

I must have been very hungry while shopping in Walmart the other day because I bought several frozen dinners. One day when Vince wasn’t coming home for lunch, I grabbed this one out of the freezer.

When I first took it out of the package, I wasn’t too sure about it. The mashed potatoes looked kinda grainy and I didn’t see much meat.

I was very pleasantly surprised! It was absolutely good and I’ll be getting more of these. I think Vince would have been pleased with that one too. This one makes up for all the nasty frozen dinners I’ve had and kinda restores my trust in those kinds of meals.
